3 Simple Ways to Find Fitbit Friends

Find Fitbit Friends

With the addition of Community, it’s now easier to find, connect with, and track all your Fitbit friends right through the Fitbit app.

More friends means more motivation—compete with coworkers on the leaderboard, get your family moving with a Fitbit Challenge, and cheer on your BFFs when they reach their step goals. You can even see and share badges with your friends in the app. It’s no wonder Fitbit users with friends take 11 percent more steps!

To get started, simply tap the Community icon in the bottom navigation bar of the Fitbit app and then press the “+” in the top right corner.

From here, there are three ways to find friends.

  • Contacts: Invite anyone in your contacts to be a Fitbit friend. The Fitbit app for Windows Windows 10 can also show you friends of friends if your friends do not privatize their friends list.
  • Facebook: If you choose to connect your Fitbit and Facebook accounts, you’ll be able to see which of your Facebook friends also have their Fitbit account linked to Facebook. If you have more than one Facebook account, you can only link one to your Fitbit account.
  • Email: Type in the email address of anyone to want to invite to Fitbit.

Once you’ve connected with current friends, make new ones by joining topic-specific Groups, also available within the Community section of the Fitbit app. Make sure your app has the latest updates to get started today!
