Small steps. Big impact.

Band together to fight breast cancer

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Fitbit is introducing a new pink band for Flex and will donate $10 to the American Cancer Society for every pink Flex sold during the month of October.

We’re excited to be taking a step towards supporting breast cancer awareness & research. Supporting the American Cancer Society is a natural fit for us, too. According to the ACS, one of the most important things you can do to stay healthy overall is to be physically active on a regular basis and eat healthy. These are of course two things that Fitbit has always been a big supporter of, and our partnership is an extension of that.

With the new Pink Flex, you can take the step towards being more active yourself, and support the ACS while you’re at it. Being more aware of how much you move throughout the day can help motivate you to make fitness a lifestyle.

This new pink band is available at Apple stores and at Together, we can help support awareness and research to fight breast cancer.

[Update 10/8: We'll be selling the pink band separately on starting on 10/22!]

Thank you so much for the Pink Flex and supporting ACS! Very awesome. I was just diagnosed with Breast cancer a few months ago and between surgeries currently. I have been very active for years, and am excited to try the Flex. I have a team together for the ACS walk 10/26. My brother gifted me today with an order. Excited to sport it at the walk- and after. Thanks for the support and product line.

When will the pink band be available to order as an accessory? I purchased the black Fitbit Flex for my fiance a couple of months ago, but now she wants the new pink band! LOL

Just joined FitBit World Oct 1st. I’m loving it. Seeing the % of activity along with the daily suggested activity in steps, cals, and or minutes per day is very inspiring. I’m excited to keep it moving. #Walking, #jogging, or #running.

Love my new Fitbit Flex, and I also love that Fitbit supports Breast Cancer Awareness with their new pink band! I so wish you would sell just the pink band individually (maybe a portion could of the proceeds could be donated) as I would love to have one! Thanks for a great product :)

I started wearing a fitbit flex in July. My activity level had slowed down quite a bit after being diagnosed with breast cancer April 25th, but I wanted to try to at least get 10,000 steps in a day. I have not hit that target that many times, but I had my last chemo treatment October 1st and plan to pick up the pace as far as getting my steps in and getting my life back on track. I just saw the email that displayed the new pink flex band for the fitbit. Is there a way for me to purchase the band without purchasing another fitbit? I would love to proudly wear it after going through a double mastectomy and chemo. I am kicking cancer’s butt!

It’s great to hear you’re doing well! After so many people asked for it, we’ve decided to release just the band for purchase as well, and we’ll continue to donate a portion of the sales to the American Cancer Society through the end of 2013. You’ll be able to order just the band starting on Oct. 22nd.

I just bought the one fitbit and LOVE it. I have a job where I am on my feet all day and saw fitbit on the shopping channel. I thought to myself “I’m gonna try that” I have been challenging myself ever since. I also like the site for all the data for the day, and your sleep as well. I have so many girls interested that I should get 1%of the company now…LOL na just joking, I do love it, thanks fitbit

I love the flex. It is my third fitbit. I lost my first one and washed my second one. I love that I don’t ever have to take it off (except to charge it). We have started a craze at my golf club. I am excited to hear that you are going to sell the breast cancer pink wristbands separately. Can’t wait until October 22! When are you going to get the three pack of wristbands in?

I managed to kill my Ultra so I just ordered the Pink Flex 9 days ago! Any idea when these will actually be shipping? I’m currently without one and going into withdrawal!

I bought fitbit one end of June 2013. I have lost 7+ kilos in four months.

I found the whole system amazing and well planned. I turned 60 in July. I walk my dogs every day. I think logging the food and seeing the energy in vs out plus the encouragement , badges, weekly reports, all reinforces the process

I have completely changed the way I eat. I have not been hungry, nor craved any previously loved foods.

    This is an amazing programme!

I wish only for food sources for Australia to be an option, as the guessing and converting is sometimes tedious.

I love that most of my clothes are way to big for me now!!

Love my Fitbit Flex but it would have been nice if you could have offered either a red or blue band for November. November is Diabetes Awareness Month and Nov. 14th was World Diabetes Day. Hope you’ll make an effort to recognize this next year because diabetes doesn’t get enough attention. Exercise is more than vital in the prevention as well as the treatment of diabetes.
