The beginning of the year is peak time for reflection. Everyone seems to be taking time to review the past 12 months, and with the enthusiasm and excitement that comes after overindulging and celebrating over the festive season, many are also committing to good intentions for self-improvement. The most popular: Get fit, and be more active and healthy for 2017.

But, as you ease back in to your busy schedule or start work, and see your planner filled to the brim, that intention to be more active this year is already starting to feel far-fetched— and it’s only the first week! Let’s face it, in this day and age we’re all a little time starved, even the gym addicts among us have days of wavering motivation to move.

Lucky for us, fitness has never been easier to attain. Take the Fitstar app for example, with its new and upgraded 3.0 release. It’s now jam packed with fresh workouts you can do anywhere and everywhere, with routines ranging from 7 minutes to 32 minutes.

Need a little more convincing to try Fitstar, so you check that resolution box and carry on being the multi-tasking, super human you are? Here are 7 times when a Fitstar session can get you moving.

1. High in the Sky

Travel is one of the most common causes for exercise pauses for good reason. But being confined to a small space in the sky is no longer be an excuse in 2017, thanks to the Traveler 10 session. This quick 10-minute routine can be performed while standing in a small area, and can help get blood into those limbs, making for a more comfortable flight after. Wherever your suitcase may take you, be sure to travel in loose comfy clothes to give this workout session a try!

2. Lunchtime Lull

If you haven’t discovered the power of working up a little sweat during your lunch period, you’re in for a real treat. It’s prime time to exercise, not only because working out at lunch means evenings to yourself, but the benefit of increased energy and efficiency mid-day is worth giving it a try! What you’ll need to complete the Short Circuit session during your next lunch break: 11 minutes (and perhaps a towel, too).

3. Clock Watching

Happen to be 10 minutes early to your destination? Don’t stand around watching that time tick away on the clock! Get moving with the 7-Minute Workout session. You’ll work your whole body, and still have a 3 minutes to catch your breath before your appointment. It’s a win-win!

4. Far from Home

Being stuck in a hotel room or away from home is not ideal for maintaining your well-rehearsed exercise routine, but fitness doesn’t have to take a break just because you’re out of your comfort zone. Try the foundational workout Stay Fit with Westin, built with the busy traveler in mind, and find time for fitness wherever you are.

5. Rise and Shine

Not exactly a fan of mornings? Well, hear us out, as we’re not asking for a lot, nor a lot of sweat—just 10 minutes. Wake up with a few delicious stretches and moves in the simple Warm It Up session, designed to loosen your body after a stiff sleep. You’ll start each day energized and focused, and, perhaps, you’ll begin to like those mornings, too?

6. Journeys on Wheels

Even if long car journeys are a regular part of your day, you don’t have to be stuck with the negative effects of sitting for long periods of time. Beat it with a Fitstar workout the next time you make a stop for a toilet break. You can do the Runtensity session in the car park, to fire up those neurons and get fresh, oxygenated blood pumping around your body in 20 minutes, flat.

7. “Gym” Time

If you’ve recently found yourself at the gym, sitting on an exercise mat, staring blankly into the distance and thinking of food, you’re not alone. It’s more common than you might believe. These moments arise from the boredom of having to endure the same series of exercises again and again. With targeted sessions for your chest, arms, legs, core and even the derrière, Fitstar can inject excitement back into gym time.

Because Fitstar offers a library of personalized, dynamic HD video workouts, tailored to your own fitness level and the free minutes you have to exercise, there’s always a time and a place. And with all these new sneaky ways to fit fitness in, plus having all your efforts automatically recorded in the Fitbit app, you could well be on your way to nailing your current fitness goal and setting a new one come February!
