Dean Karnazes’ Monkey Flip Smoothie Recipe

Trying to “eat clean” by cutting out processed and refined foods? Have I got a treat for you! Perfect for pre-workout energy or post-workout recovery, my Monkey Flip Smoothie is easy to digest, cool, and creamy. And you won’t find any excess sugar or unnecessary additives.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium Ripe Banana
  • 1 tbsp. Cocoa Powder
  • 2 cups Coconut Milk
  • 2 to 3 tbsp. Crunchy Peanut Butter
  • 1 tbsp. Honey
  • 6 to 9 Ice Cubes

Directions:

  1. Blend all ingredients, except ice, together in a blender until smooth.
  2. Add ice cubes and grind until you get the consistency of a milk shake.
  3. Enjoy the ultimate smoothie!
