We’re excited to announce Fitbit Alta made its debut on the Indian runway with fashion designer Masaba Gupta at Lakme Fashion Week, the country’s largest fashion event!
The collaboration is a natural fusion of fashion and fitness for daily life. Masaba is known for her unconventional prints, feminine draping and strong silhouettes. Her collection this year was no exception. Taking elements from iconic works of Matthieu Venot (ace French photographer) and Katrin Bremermann (German artist), Masaba also found inspiration in everyday objects and routine. Proving that style is for everyday and every occasion.
Everything about the Masaba Gupta show inspired colour and movement.
A former tennis enthusiast and dancer herself, Masaba is into fitness in a big way, and loves using her Fitbit Blaze (also launched at Lakme Fashion week) to track her daily activity.
With the #GetFitInStyle campaign kicking-off a week prior to the show, Masaba shared her #GetFitInStyle mantra to more than half a million of her Twitter followers and the fashion community in India followed suit.
On the day, Masaba’s collection caught everyone’s eye with bold graphics, colour blocking and ultra feminine shapes. Each of the outfits were beautifully complemented with a sleek new Fitbit Alta and white platform sports shoes. A match made in fashion heaven.

Even the runway itself conjured up motivation to get out and move; designed like a jogger’s park with grass-like flooring and floral backdrops. Indian actress and Fitbit ambassador Shraddha Kapoor stole the show, however, walking the runway in Masaba’s designs and a blue Fitbit Alta.
