2 Playlists That Make Indoor Cycling Workouts Fly By

Man on bike listening to an indoor cycling playlist

Whether you’re riding inside—or getting ready for an outdoor cycling session—picking the perfect music is vital to getting pumped up. That’s why I want to share two of my favorites with you.

Below, the indoor cycling playlist I’d use for a challenging ride. I opted to kick off the 15-minute warm-up with a classic song you might already know and then mixed things up a bit for the main set (about 26 minutes) and the 18-minute cooldown. Listen via speakers or with your Fitbit Flyer headphones (available for pre-order now).

Music for When You Just Want to Ride

I would listen to this playlist on an any-old-kind-of-day indoor ride. Nothing too aggressive—just a normal ride when you’re feeling happy. It’s only right that we start with an oldie but goldie: “What a Feeling” by Irene Cara, because what a feeling it is to be on the bike, right?

The rest of the playlist is a mix between softer songs and songs with a little more pep. And yes, I am obviously still stuck in the eighties.
