Last year, Fitbit researchers analyzed aggregated and anonymous data on sleep, steps, active minutes, and resting heart rate from millions of Fitbit users to find America’s Fittest Cities.
This year, not only did they rerun that analysis—check out the 2017 Fittest Cities in America—but they also took their research global.
Below, the Fittest Countries in the World, based on data from more than 20 million Fitbit users across the globe.*
Fitbit’s 2017 Fittest Countries in the World
*The 2017 Fitbit Fittest Countries analysis is based on aggregated and anonymous 2016 data from 23.2 million Fitbit users across the globe. The analysis is a representative sample of 2016 data from more than 10 million users in the United States and more than 10 thousand users in each international country.
